This project has involved Ricardo creating a tool which allows UK businesses to estimate and report their air pollution emissions, alongside their GHG emissions. They are engaging UK businesses directly to use the tool.

This project is an extension of ShareAction's pilot project to introduce air quality to the investment sector. It will continue making progress on equipping investors with the knowledge, skills, tools and opportunities to engage companies on air pollution, while pushing clean air higher up companies' agendas in sustainability planning and ESG propositions, and helping organisations become more aware of its materiality.

Smart Freight Centre’s Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) developed a Black Carbon methodology to offer guidelines for the voluntary measurement and reporting of black carbon emissions (tank-to-wheel) in the logistics sector. In this project, SmartFreight will update their black carbon methodology and develop calculation guidelines for logistics chains, integrating these into the GLEC Framework.

To support a global network of advanced PM2.5 monitoring sites that improves the quality of global air quality data resources (e.g. global health impact assessments) by improving satellite data and global-scale air quality models.

To understand and raise awareness of air pollution and climate emissions in Providence, advance use of lower-cost air quality monitoring data, support improved policy and environmental initiatives and enable Brown University to support the City of Providence’s health, wellness and climate related goals.

To support OpenAQ and its work to aggregate and make available the world’s air quality data.

Bring the relevant and latest knowledge on air quality data (including but not limited to low-cost monitoring, data analysis, source characterisation and air quality management) to the stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries which is currently poorly disseminated from Global North contexts.

Funding the installment of Michael Pinksy's 'Pollution Pods' in Granary Square, London, and their journey travelling north through 5 cities, ending up in Glasgow for COP26 to mainstream the conversation of air pollution ahead of the climate conference.

To support Health Effects Institute's flagship report on the health effects of air pollution, State of Global Air.

To galvanise city action on air quality in pursuit of our vision for working with C40: that all C40 cities to reach healthy levels of air quality (WHO guideline levels) in the shortest possible time, while meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement, and for this to galvanise ambitious global action towards clean air for all.
