Project Director - Breathe Cities
Mike is responsible for delivery and implementation across the cohort of Breathe Cities.

Mike has spent the majority of his career within the international development sector, and has travelled extensively in the Global South especially within Sub-Saharan Africa. Mike has held a range of senior management roles working across both operations and programmatic areas.

Mike has worked in a range of sectors including agriculture with Farm Africa, governance with the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative as well as education and health.

Mike joined Clean Air Fund in 2020 as Director of Operations and Finance, moving across to the Breathe Team in 2024.

Mike began his career as a chartered accountant with KPMG, and completed his degree in Management Science at Warwick University.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, including navigating three teenage children; he also enjoys running and exploring for fun.

Why Mike works for Clean Air Fund:

As a father, I am acutely aware of the impact of air pollution on the development and health of children. Cities are at the forefront of action on both climate change and air pollution and so it is both a responsibility and a privilege to work on enhancing urban air quality in cities globally.
