Max Wahid
HR Business Partner
Originally from Fiji Islands, Max is an award-winning HR practitioner and a HR Associate finalist for Hotel Management APAC awards (2023). His extensive international HR knowledge & background is varied across several multinational organizations including Hospitality & Tourism, Financial Institutions and FMCG. Max started his career with the British Army having deployed in operational tours overseas at the age of 18, with a NATO medal next to his name.
In his spare time, Max is an avid champion for all things diversity and inclusion. He has helped launch ANZ International Banks ‘Pride Network’ to advocating for an inclusive culture for all their LGBTIQ+ staff in the Pacific Islands. He has also been a former Co-President and helped launch the International Families Equality Day which celebrates LGBTIQ+ families across the globe!
Why Max works for Clean Air Fund:
I was drawn to Clean Air Fund’s mission to create a world where everyone breathes clean air. This resonates deeply with me and I am excited about the opportunity to do my bit for the environment now and for future generations.
