Dr Elisa Puzzolo has a public health background and multi-year experience in tackling air pollution, working at the interface between government institutions, civil society organizations, UN agencies, and research institutions. She has forged collaborative partnerships and spearheaded impactful initiatives.
Her professional journey includes tenure at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, a role as Director of Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation for a US-based NGO promoting clean energy, and her academic engagement with the University of Liverpool as co-Lead for the Energy, Air Pollution, and Health Research Group and the NIHR-funded CLEAN-Air(Africa) Global Health Research Unit.
