Alex Bowes

Prior to joining the Clean Air Fund, Alex spent 5 years working for an educational charity where she picked up a range of experience, from delivering interventions to young people facing disadvantage, to providing facilities and health and safety support and leading on setting up new learning centres around the country.

Alex holds a masters degree in Chemistry from the University of York and outside of work she is a keen runner and likes to spend as much time as possible in nature. 

Why Alex works for the Clean Air Fund:

I am increasingly concerned about the disproportionate effect that climate change and air pollution have on the mental and physical health of vulnerable communities. I consider it a privilege to be in a role where I can support and enable effective solutions to these issues.
